Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Sarah Francis is embarking on a one-day, 100-mile cycle ride around Lake Tahoe to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to fund blood cancer research.

Team in Training is a program that combines training for different endurance events with fundraising and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  With Team in Training you don’t just learn to ride a bike or run a marathon, you find inspiration and motivation from the people who have lived or are living with blood cancers. LLS is an amazing support for families who are having to deal with this terrible disease and they are also making great strides to hopefully soon find a cure for blood cancers.

The money raised by the North Texas chapter of LLS partially goes to families and patients in the DFW metroplex who might need financial assistance for their treatment and the other part to help fund different researchers throughout the world.
